Mary, Queen of the World Cathedral - Montreal, Canada

Mary, Queen of the World Cathedral is a minor basilica and the seat of the Roman Catholic archdiocese in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Fashioned in the Renaissance, Baroque style, the cathedral began construction in 1875 and was completed in 1894 as Saint James Cathedral.  Between 1955 and 1960 restoration was ongoing.

Mary, Queen of the World Cathedral was declared a National Historic Site of Canada on March 28, 2000.
